Bethany Goddiess
Au.D., CCC-A
Dr. Bethany Goddiess completed her undergraduate degree at University of Massachusetts Amhest and her doctoral degree in audiology at University of Connecticut. She began working at Ascent Hearing when the Electric Boat open their hearing aid program in 2017. She was drawn to the field of audiology because she enjoys re-connecting people to their world though hearing. She strives everyday to make hearing aid less scary and bring the joy of hearing back to the world.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Bethany is very involved in the sailing community, particularly the Mystic Mudheads, having served as a board manager and the 2025 Commodore. Being born and raises in Southeastern Connecticut, she hates being far from the ocean, and she is passing the love of the water to her son, Henry.
Brianna Thomas
Patient Services Coordinator
Helping people with hearing loss is something Brianna was born to do. Growing up she designated herself as the personal “translator” for her profoundly hearing-impaired mother and she brings that same compassion and understanding to our patients. Bri makes clear communication her priority! When she’s not helping our patients hear better you can find her casually falling from ceilings as an aerialist or practicing her Japanese speaking skills. “こんにちは!はじめまして!
